  • Fear Isn’t The Enemy

    Fear Isn’t The Enemy

    Fear isn’t the monster.
    Fear is the flashlight.

From stage fright to cancer, from dreams lost to dreams found — fear has been a constant. I thought the goal was to kill it. To be “fearless.”

    But fear shouldn’t be dismissed.
Fear is information. Fear seeks safety.

Now, when I feel fear, I ask:

Is this fear protecting me, or is it limiting me?
Is it about survival, or about control?
Is it my intuition, or my insecurity?

    Fear is a compass.
But left unheard, it becomes a cage.

The skill is knowing how to listen.

Rock n Roll Repeat T-Shirt Collaboration

I’m excited to let you know that Rock n’ Roll Repeat is opening the pre-order for a minimal run t-shirt featuring one of Pat Graham’s Rock For Choice photographs. Pat has such an incredible eye—he’s documented so much of punk and indie rock history—and this particular shot from a Washington D.C. show has always carried a lot of energy for me.

That night in D.C. remains vivid in my memory. The crowd was sweaty, loud, and completely unhinged in the best way—D.C. audiences always had this raw intensity, and it pushed us to play even harder. I remember feeling like the floor might actually give way under everyone jumping around, but that just made the whole set more electric. Having that moment captured by Pat and now brought back through this collaboration feels like a time capsule cracked open.

All orders are going through Rock n’ Roll Repeat’s webstore.

    Two Troublemakers

Two legendary troublemakers, side by side.
The Ghost Bass (Jennifer Finch’s longtime ride) and Fat Mike’s bass are both living at the Punk Rock Museum — waiting for you to come in and play ‘em, and yes, they can be plugged in and played loud by anyone who dares!

No velvet ropes. Not behind glass. No “do not touch” signs. Just pure history in your hands.

  • Desire Me.

    Desire Me.

Desire Isn’t Dangerous: Welcome Your Wants

I was a drug addict for over a decade, so I know what it feels like to be in the grip of “want.”
To want something so bad that anyone around me, mostly you, sometimes me, would get hurt in the whirlwind.

When I got clean, I couldn’t tell the difference between craving and need.
For years, everything felt like need. Everything felt urgent.
Food, love, friendship, social interaction, work, music—everything.

So now, when I want something, I pause and ask:

    • Is this coming from fear or from freedom?
    • Is it about relief, or is it about truth?
    • Is this about “fixing”, or is it about “growing?”

    Craving comes from absence.
    Desire comes from clarity.

What do you desire the most?
