I recently sat down for an interview with Pod Scum, and it was exactly the kind of conversation I love being part of — raw, unapologetic, and rooted in real punk spirit. There’s no pretense on that show, no need to polish things up for comfort. We went straight into the realities of music, survival, and what it actually means to live a life driven by instinct, integrity, and noise. It felt more like a back-and-forth with people who’ve lived it than a traditional interview.
What stood out to me was how deeply Pod Scum understands the culture it talks about. We covered everything from the early days to the long road of staying creative and sane in an industry that doesn’t exactly reward honesty. We talked about resilience, mistakes, and the importance of staying true to yourself — even when it costs you something. Those are the conversations that matter, especially now.
I’m grateful to Reckless Rexx for holding space for a real exchange without filters or fluff. Punk has always been about truth, community, and speaking your mind, and this interview reflected all of that. Much respect to them for keeping it loud, honest, and necessary.
