I recently jumped on the Verbal Shenanigans podcast, and true to its name, it was equal parts hilarious, unpredictable, and surprisingly heartfelt. From the jump, the vibe was loose and fun, making it easy to let the conversation go wherever it wanted. We talked music, life, and all the strange twists that happen when you stick around long enough to collect a few stories worth telling. Laughter was definitely a big part of it — the kind that sneaks up on you and catches you off guard.

What I loved about Verbal Shenanigans was how effortlessly it bounced between humor and depth. One minute we’re joking around, the next we’re digging into heavier truths about survival, creativity, and staying grounded through the chaos. Those are my favorite kinds of conversations — the ones that don’t pretend everything is neat and shiny, but still find joy in the mess. It felt honest, unfiltered, and refreshingly human.

At the end of the day, it was just a great reminder of why these conversations matter. Sharing stories, laughing at ourselves, and connecting through music and lived experience keep everything real.
