I recently stopped by The Grey Area Unfiltered, and it was one of those conversations that lives up to the name in the best way. The show isn’t afraid to sit in the uncomfortable, messy, in-between spaces, and that made it a powerful place to talk honestly about life, recovery, music, and the constant work of self-reflection. We dug into the realities of navigating identity over time—who you were, who you thought you’d be, and who you’re still becoming.
What I appreciated most about The Grey Area Unfiltered was the lack of polish for polish’s sake. It was real, direct, and rooted in truth rather than soundbites. We talked about accountability, growth, and learning how to stay present—even when it’s hard. Those conversations matter, especially when they remind us that nothing is black and white, and that there’s real strength in owning your story exactly as it is. I’m grateful for the space and the honesty—it was a meaningful exchange I won’t soon forget.
