Fear isn’t the monster.
Fear is the flashlight.
From stage fright to cancer, from dreams lost to dreams found — fear has been a constant. I thought the goal was to kill it. To be “fearless.”
But fear shouldn’t be dismissed.
Fear is information. Fear seeks safety.
Now, when I feel fear, I ask:
Is this fear protecting me, or is it limiting me?
Is it about survival, or about control?
Is it my intuition, or my insecurity?
Fear is a compass.
But left unheard, it becomes a cage.
The skill is knowing how to listen.
