This year’s been a wild carousel of conversations, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I hit a bunch of podcasts in 2025, each one pulling a different thread of my life — from the chaos and beauty of making music to the even more chaotic beauty of mothers, family, and the weird ways those forces shape us. Some shows wanted the deep cuts into L7’s history; others wanted to dig into identity, creativity, recovery, activism — all the stuff that’s wired into me, whether I like it or not. It’s funny how every host manages to unlock a different angle, and I walk away thinking, Oh, right, I lived that too. Talking into a mic has become its own kind of touring: no amps, no feedback squeal, but still a blast.
And the public appearances? Pure fuel. Touring with L7 this year felt like jumping back into a hurricane I know by heart — loud, sweaty, righteous. Then there was the Punk Rock Museum, where I spent time giving tours, swapping stories, and watching people light up as they connected the dots between history and the loud, messy humans who made it. Being part of that space never gets old. So here you have it — my 2025 roundup of podcasts and public hangouts. Thanks for listening, for showing up, for asking the strange and brilliant questions, and for keeping punk alive by simply giving a damn.
