MOTOBLOT CHICAGO 2025 RECAP: A SOLID RIDE
Chicago always knows how to throw a party—and this recent Motoblot proved it once again! L7 had the honor of playing this festival alongside our old Warped Tour friends, Face to Face, and bands within the punk subculture. From load-in to lights-out, everything ran smoothly as a fresh-tuned engine. Huge props to the organizers for putting together such a well-oiled machine from the start.
The crowd was next level. Loud, rowdy, and as ready. You could feel the pulse of the city underneath those boots and bikes. We hit the stage and the energy came right back at us tenfold—pure, sweaty, sing-along catharsis in true Windy City style. It’s always been a second home for L7, and this show reminded us why: Chicago doesn’t fake it. You feel it.
What stood out most—besides the killer bikes, rad lineup, and the smell of BBQ and fuel in the air—was how dialed in everything was. Motoblot had its act together—professional, passionate, and punk as hell. You could tell this wasn’t just a show—it was a vision brought to life by people who care deeply about music, community, and culture.
Big love to everyone who made it happen and to every fan who showed up and threw down. If this was Motoblot’s first lap, we can’t wait to see what the next ones look like. Thanks for having us—we’ll be back.
